Hen Party French Riviera Style

Hen Party French Riviera Style

I just returned from a weekend break in Nice and am on a high for the French Riviera style, especially after my daily Daily Mail fix of style at the Cannes film festival (#someday!). I was thinking it would be an extremely stylish and unique look for a hen party; ultra chic tops, skirts, dresses and accessories with cool coastal stripes, crisp whites and big sunglasses. In my Topshop mail today I see that they are all about the chic style of the French Riviera and it’s clear that it’s an awesome style to theme your summer 2015 hen party. It is a great day time look, perfect for a hen party brunch or lunch, boat trip (a more stylish spin on the more traditional nautical and sailor hen party themes), shopping trip or wine tasting hen party activity.

Be inspired by the Topshop collection and see how you and the girls can recreate the look with your existing wardrobe.

Whether you opt for a fresh all white Riviera inspired look or some classic breton stripes, send the girls the chic memo and tell them to come dressed to impress with the biggest sunglasses they own.

Hen Party Style Tips

Whether you’re channelling Claudia Schiffer’s 90s shift dress chic, or a shirt and shorts combo – play with texture this time around and swap crisp cotton pieces for cord skirts and leather culottes.

Opt for all white for a fresh look and amp up the accessories.

Master Grace Kelly-style poolside luxe in a headscarf and statement sunglasses for day or, if you’re after something a little closer to home, add a typically British twist to your look in a straw boater and pair with new graphic print bikinis.

Give a nod to the birthplace of the Breton and take your lines next-level in a striped jumpsuit. Or, double up your references and pair a vertical lined mini with a cold-shoulder top. Modernise with metallic backpacks and sliders.
