Dublin Tapas Trail

We recently added a new business, The Tapas Trail (a new Dublin food tour) to our directory. We like to try out businesses where we can before including them to ensure that they’re the right fit for you ladies and your fabulous hen parties. I can tell you, that this is one experience I HIGHLY recommend. Whether you live in Dublin or are coming to the city for the weekend, it ticks off sight seeing, a little dash of history and culture, exercise (some strolling is entailed), eating and most important for most hen parties, getting tipsy. It really is a very versatile hen party experience and way of seeing the city.

I dragged a friend along with me (although at the sound of food and wine, it was an easy twist!) and we had such a fun evening. I only moved back to Dublin recently so it’s all new to me, but my friend has been here for years and knows the town pretty well. She was  impressed and surprised to see a side of Dublin she didn’t know existed. We went to very cute, independent restaurants oozing with character and charm. The food was excellent with a wide variety tapas (not only Spanish tapas) were on the menu. The wine and food were in generous portions. At the last restaurant we joined forces with another group and partied into the evening in a cute Italian where I’ll definitely be returning to.

I’m not going to give anything more away on the restaurants or food as this experience is all about the surprise. The owners, Laura and Paul set this up after being inspired by wine tours and other experiences in Australia and it’s definitely a welcome addition to the Dublin scene. If anyone does go on this tour, we’d love to hear how you get on. Please leave a review here

We wanted to get to know Laura  a little better #thenosyhenplanner so threw our mini quiz at her …

Your name and where you live
Laura and I live in Malahide

Three words that describe you
Fun, friendly and dangerous with a credit card!

Your favourite tipple
That’s a hard one…Large glass of Shiraz or Captain Morgan & Club Orange and if I am out for the Night…Harvey Wallbanger Cocktail!

Your desert island must haves (3 items)
My son, who would have so much fun on the Island, my Iphone (its a problem at this stage) and my favourite Indian Takeaway on tap!

Where your business is based
We are based in Dublin City Centre

Describe your business in one sentence
Tapas Trail offers fun, relaxed tours around Dublin and bring you to 3 yummy Tapas Restaurants where you can enjoy a selection of Tapas and delicious wine, great way to catch up with old friends and make new ones along the way! (That’s still one sentence right?!)

Why hen parties should come to you
Because its a great way for the Hen Party to get to know each other but in a relaxed way, it caters to all age groups (over 18 years of age +). After you leave us at Tapas Trail, you may be merry, have eaten plenty of tasty Tapas, have made lots of new friends and ready to go on dancing and/or explore Dublin if that’s your plan!

Happy hen party planning!
