Tranquility cottage in Carlingford is a big spacious house boasting fab views and a stylish interior. There’s room for up to 18 people with lovely big bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms and ensuites, (very important for getting ready!). As past guests of this hen party venue, we enjoyed cocktails in the living area, a hilarious game of Mr and Mrs on the big screen and danced to some throwback tunes on the in house jukebox. We had the house to ourselves but we had dinner delivered and served – leaving more time for the bridesmaids to organise games and some photo nostalgia. The house itself is between Carlingford and Omeath but it comes with it’s own personalised bus if you fancy hitting the nightlife in Carlingford Village (a hen party hotspot!). There are also lots of daytime activity options in the area, particularly if your bride is outdoorsy or likes watersports. However you could also just light the fire, pop the prosecco and crank up the jukebox. Definitely up there for gorgeous hen party houses in Ireland!

There’s also the promise of fresh homemade scones on arrival!
