A simple London hen party

We came across this lovely hen party idea when we saw that the talented Laura Hickling was inspired for a recent hen party by The Hen Planner. Yay!! We could not resist sharing this lovely hen party with you.

The hen party instructions were that it was simple and classy with no typical hen party tack, themes or trouble. They headed to London for the hen party and booked into the lovely DoubleTree Hilton in Tower Hill and arranged a trip to the Tate Modern for afternoon tea. The evening was spent in the hotels rooftop bar and then the girls headed to Karaoke Box, a fun karaoke venue in London. The next day was a relaxing and pampering trip to the Grange Hotel’s spa,  with a 30 minute treatment,  steam rooms, sauna, Jacuzzi and swimming pool.

Now, onto the bit that we love. The personal and little hen party touches. They arranged goody bags for the hen party guests which were filled with rose wine, crisps and chocolate, as well as a glass and serviette which all matched the wedding theme perfectly. They also had a memory book as a gift for the bride to be. Laura decided to add to this and make  favours for the afternoon tea. She came up with the idea for making passport holders as the wedding was on in Portugal and most of the ladies would be travelling for the wedding.  She also made a little Date Ideas box, to store the cards on to which the hen party guests had written fun things to do on a date.
